Spring Challenge 2008

Indoor 6 Person Volleyball Tournament

Sunday, May 4th, 2008
8:00 am to 6:00 pm
Gym opens at 7:00 am. Captains meeting at at 8:00 am

Although NAVGA rules are generally applied, V.O.I.L.A. officials will make the final judgment on eligibility.
Maximum of 18 teams total using the Round Robin format; with playoffs for the top two teams in each division.

NEW RULE STARTING WITH THIS TOURNAMENT;

B teams are allowed TWO BB rated players but NO unrated players UNLESS

the Board (Ron, Dima and Ian) know their level of play.

If you bring unrated players you can NOT have BB rated players already on your roster.

The point is to end with no more than 2 BB rated players on a B team and no more than 2 A rated players on a BB team.

If you have un-rated players om your team, you MUST bring them to play at Hollywood High BEFORE the tournament on May 4th. No more than two unrated players are allowed per team unless the Board (Ron, Dima and Ian) know their level of play

Individual medals will be given to players on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams in each division.
Cost is $15.00 per person YOU MUST PAY IN ADVANCE! you can NOT register and pay on Sunday!

(If paid by check or money order, funds must clear on or by Thursday May 1st for eligibility).

Deadline for entries is Thursday, May 1st
Captains will be notified by phone or email on or before Friday, May 2nd
All ages and genders are welcome, however, Men's rules (NAGVA) and Men's height net will be used.
Regular matches will consist of 2 rally point games of 21 points with a 23 point cap.

Registration Forms are available from Dima or Ron at any of the play venues.
